Bios Mods -The Best BIOS Update and Modification Source

Hi there,

As i'm seeing much appreciated breakthrough's with the Dell m17x bios.

I would also like to request if its possible to remove the throttle in Dell's M18XR1 A03 bios for the 2x GPU GTX 580M running in SLI.
This would be much appreciated by all M18X users with SLI GTX580M.

I dont need anything else touched just this Dell GPU throttle removed or even upped to say 90c (Nvidia limit for these cards is 100c anyway)

Did the A02 bios has a throttle too !
Do all M18X R1 bioses has a throttle ! Or there is one have a removed throttle .

Yes A02 has it as well.

But I believe the A00 hasn't but doesnt detect the 580m hence why they released/shipped M18X with 580m with A02

Ok i will look deeply into this and upload a mod to test in a couple of days, i need time as its hard to remove throttle from these bioses , thanks for your patience .

i will try to add support for the 580M GPU inside the A00 bios , then you test it .
will this be ok , or you want to remove throttle from the current bios A02 and don`t want to downgrade to A00 !

I'm happy to test aoo with 580 support, but would prefer the a02 with throttle removed

Ok sounds good only because aoo BIOS is old but I'm happy to test to see if throttle is present in aoo with 580m support

Try this modified A00 bios with added 580M GPU support .
try it and i`m waiting your reply and be sure you can recover using blind recovery first .[attachment=2617]
