I discovered that the card I ordered doesn't fit in a PCI slot (its a MacBook Air card), so it'll be a while before my next card comes.

In the meantime, however, I've already installed Windows 10 Technical Preview instead of the original Windows 8 that came with the device. Will this impact my ability to flash the BIOS you posted?

No as It's a DOS Env. command and It's working Booting from USB Stick !
