I actually had a quick question about this laptop's BIOS. I was wondering that if this laptop's whitelist also blocks out the ability to use a PCIe external graphics card. Since this laptop has a second slot, I decided that I'd want to try the graphics card out. So I hooked one up with an external adapter and it turns on, great right? Well it's not showing up in the Device Manager, nor can the installers detect it so I'm trying to gather as much info as I can and someone mentioned that it might be a BIOS whitelist. Is it possible that the BIOS can specifically stop something like that from being recognized?

sorry but, anyone can help me with this? at least a link for a tutorial or something? I don't have panic to learn.

If anyone does this by me, I will obviously donate for it. I'm at university and need to get rid of the wireless to install a better card, because the wifi reception isn't good in some study areas.
