Dear all,

I recently bought a second-hand Lenovo u410. Replaced the HDD with a SSD. My laptop is running smooth except for the WIFI connection, it is weak most of the time. I tried to put another wifi adapter into the slot but then my laptop did not go on....

So while searching for a solution I came to this thread and saw that there is an option to change the adapter with the removal of the Whitelist? Could anyone please help me with this solution?

I am running windows 10 with BIOS version 65CN99WW (? I did the cmd - wmic bios get smbiosbiosversion).

I hope that the given information is sufficient.

Thank you in advance.
I had to change the motherboard and now I would please need a new mod. I need regular and not advanced BIOS menu (if possible I would appreciate both if I change my mind later Smile ) . Thank you.

Im running the Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 now and it works great no dropped signal and full speed all the time. Ebay is usually the cheapest place for them. once you get your fixed bios i highly suggest you get yourself one of these.

Hi Oumpia31,

Thank you for you advise but I already have another card which works fine now on my Lenovo thanks to Dudu2002. But again thanks for your advice.
