But why is the azurewave not compatible? it's a normal ac wifi card.. i know someone who uses the same azurewave wifi card with the lenovo u510 and there is no big difference between the laptops..

here is the original wifi card:

Original Wireless Adapter : Atheros AR9285
Wireless Adapter ID: PCI\VEN_168C&DEV_002B&SUBSYS_31A117AA&REV_01

please have a try Smile

Let me know
Regards

Thank you for doing this, but my laptop still can't see wireless cards. I moved it into another slot and it still wasn't recognized. I booted into ubuntu and saw it, but it said "hardware switch disabled". I have the same problem when I flash the stock BIOS. Still can't see it's OEM (Intel) wifi card. Is it possible that sector of my BIOS is corrupt? This is what my BIOS looks like after I flashed the mod above:

Thanks for all your help.
after my u410 is flashed to 65CN99WW, I tried to run the bios backup toolkit and I would get an error "can not identify bios" I am not sure whats wrong... but I would like to whitelist my current bios 65CN99WW so I can swap out the WIFI adapter with another...

now in my bios say product name lenovo u310 but my computer is lenovo u410

and my wifi radio can't turn on

mi wifi is intel cetrino n2200

any idea ??

please advise... thanks

I am also trying to install an azuerwave chip in my U410, though I am not PMpatched. I don't mind being PMpatched though, as it would help me. Would I be able to flash this bios?
BDMaster - I second that. Could you please restore the links, especially for the patch. Many thanks for all your hard work on this.

Or if someone downloaded them when they were up could they please share them.

Hi friend,
I am happy to read that people say thanks to me for my efforts Wink !!!

Hi friend,
I want to start a New Way to pass Mods to users :

AutoMod

Using CodeRush Tool UEFIPatch + Patches.txt We can do the Mod by ourself, in any time and wherever We are !!!

Just use the right Patches.txt for the own Bios Version, so for 65CN99WW use this one !!!

How to use ? It's easy, just do a biosbackup.bin file and drag&drop on UEFIPatch.exe (the Patches.txt file has to be togheter at tool) It will reply with a file patched, then rename that file as bios.bin, put It into modified folder where are all rest tools to re-flash Bios Mod and copy all files from modified folder to an USB Dos Formatted Bootable Stick and Boot from USB !
Then at CLI Prompt Comand run flash.bat That's It all !

Here CodeRush Tool :

https://www.sendspace.com/file/1745gw

The Patches.txt file for 65CN99WW :

http://rghost.net/57791195

Here Modified folder with all tools to re-flash Bios Mod from USB, follow instructions :

http://rghost.net/56795507

I hope It will become the New Mod Way !!!

Let me know
regards
Many thanks for this BDMaster.

Please excuse my ignorance but I have one question:
Do I rename the .rom backup "BIOSBAKK_64.ROM" created by FPT_BACKUP-BIOS.exe to "biosbackup.bin" or do I have to create a .bin format backup of my bios with some other tool? Thanks.

Just rename, file extension .rom or .bin are similar !
Universal Bios Backup generate a .rom and FPT a .bin insydeflash .fd, but all files have the same contain !!!
Check all files by na HexEditor Wink
Only thing important is the file size as Universal Bios Backup sometimes go wrong, but FPT is precise !!!
