Hi, anybody knows what mistake I do? I tried to change usb (3types). Or could it be a bios settings? I'm quite desperate for any advice. Or would installing windows and running bios bckp utility help?

Thank you AD.

Can you please remove the whitelist from this ROM file? I'm trying to use a AR9285 card and it doesn't seem to be allowed. Linux says it's turned off by a hardware switch.

Hi there,
This doesn't seem to have worked. The BIOS was updated but linux still says the card is turned off by a hardware switch and WIFI is still not connecting in Windows and OSx. The card is an Atheros 9285 with vendor and device ID 0x168c and 0x205
Hello,

I just purchased two AzureWave model AW-CE12H 802.11ac cards with chip BCM94352HMB. I tested both on a Dell Alienware M14X and one Dell 3440 before purchase and they worked fine. When installing any of them on my Lenovo Ideapad U410, the system won't even power up. I already installed a previous hacked BIOS w/o whitelist because I am running an Intel 6235 wifi card at the moment (that was over one year ago and I don't recall exactly what I did). Should I install a windows os and try with https://hostr.co/2GNmDpG2dXZ9 to see if it works or it might be some other problem that can't be solved by a bios update? Or you can create a new file that might help me get it going?

More details:
Lenovo Ideapad U410 (no touch)
BIOS version: 65CN21WW
KBC version: 65EC16WW
Model name: 4376
PN: 59333916
Device ID of the Azurewave card: PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_43B1&SUBSYS_2B231A3B&REV_03

Edit: Now I screwed it even more, I used the original BIOS for U310 65CN99WW and now I can't boot anything in UEFI mode, I can't make a downgrade to an older version from Windows because of some errors, or use the Phoenix Repair tool, it doesn't access the USB to write the downgraded version. I am literally fucked. I can't use even my older card. Anyone got ideas?

Here is a link to my present BIOS that I cannot get rid of: https://www.dropbox.com/s/zxl3btxhk3jyst8/BACKBIOS.BIN

Thanks in advance,
Tzuik.

Hi all!
I am upgrading the wifi card to a intel 7260 wireless-ac on my U310 and would like to have the whitelist removed.
Bios Version: 65CN89WW
Current Wifi Device: Intel Centrino Wireless-N 2200
Future Wifi Device: Intel Wireless-AC 7260HMW
Bios Backup: https://www.dropbox.com/s/67z2ixn2dytyvm...AKK_64.ROM
If it is working, then you need no mod
The Wlan chip isn't working Sad

how do i create a backup of my bios ?

which other infos would be needed for mod?
